The Good News
The Good News of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for visiting our site. It is indeed good news that you are here. Our hope is that your search will land you in the midst of our loving and caring church.
The good news, or the Gospel, is that God loves you.
We serve a holy God who calls us to be holy as well. The problem is that we are not by nature a holy people. We fall short of God’s desire and thus breaking the relationship that he wishes to have with us. This short coming is called sin, and we are all guilty of it. Even if you consider yourself a good person we still have sin and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
This separation from God can be unbearable at times when life is at its worse. This separation brings death and despair into the human condition. The bible teaches that the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23).
God’s justice demands that sin be accounted for. That there is a penalty for going against God and it is death. This would be a very grim outlook if it all ended here. But like we said earlier there is some good news here.
The Good News is that our penalty for sin has been taken care of. The bible teaches us that even though we are sinners and separated ourselves from God he sent His Son to pay for our sins. This is the love of God, while we were sinners He sent His Son to pay our sin debt by dying a humiliating and painful death on the cross. (Romans 5:8)
All we have to do to accept this gift of life and forgiveness is believe that it happened. Scriptures tells us that if we believe with our heart and confess with our mouth we will be saved. No good works, no trying to be good enough, no human effort can save us from death, a total separation from God. God simply ask us to believe Him and live a life dedicated to Him. (Romans 10:9-10)
We, as a loving church, ask you simply have you done this? We want you to be saved and have a relationship with God. We would love to help you take this step and if you have we want you to know we are here to help you grow and serve. Please contact us and tell us the Good News that you have been saved.
